Fortune Favors the Brave?

Comfort favors the wise.
The path favors the trained.
And pain favors me...

My extreme walk to from Eksjo to Nassjo ended abruptly, 5km before it's rightful end, due to a blister bursting on my left foot. I tried to keep walking, but it was rather impossible ...
I tried to hitchhike from where I stopped, but unluckily for me it was a right at a bus station (And everyone just pointed to the bus station when I tried to stop them...) so I called up David (my host from Nassjo) and asked him to come and pick me up.

I gotta say I've surprised myself. I've never walked 15km before AND never walked with 20kg of load, so I think that I fared pretty well for my first try.

Highlights from the walk:

Leaving Eskjo ... no faster than 70kmph.

Signature Greenscapes.

The harbor rest.

A can of the most disgusting Energy I've ever had ... (NO SUGAR!!!) and it's 50cl ....

5km to Nassjo, where I broke down :(

Sunset view from the station where I stopped.
